Menton is a beautiful French town on the border with Italy. It is called \u201cThe town of the lemons\u201d. It is also surnamed \u201cThe garden of France\u201d. It has beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated two miles distance from the Principality of Monaco, of which Menton was part before 1863.

Of course, the ideal is to stay at the Grand Hotel des Ambassadeurs, but several periods in October are already fully booked with the participants to the Biennale. Try your chance, maybe in your dates there are still available rooms.
