BACS is pleased to announce the artists who will participate in the 2021 edition, entitled “Art et Transcendance”. The list is in continuous progress.
A total of 200 artists will be participating in the Biennale.
A majority of artists are from Europe: Italy, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco, Luxemburg, Belgium, Czeck Republic, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain, Malta, Portugal and Greece) The rest of the artists come from countries as diverse as Korea, Argentina, China, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, South Africa, as well as Russia, United States and Canada. During the biennial more than 200 works – paintings, sculptures, photographs, engravings, videos and books – will be shown or performed in eight different exhibition rooms in the Palace des Ambassadeurs. There will also be inaugurated a public sculpture entitled to the Le Bon Pasteur by the French artist Frédérique Nalbandian and dedicated to Luc Lanlo who was part of the Scientific Committee of the Biennale and deceased this year of Covid. The sculpture will be placed in the the garden and it will remain there forever.
